I installed the 9- and 14-inch Sport and the 12- and 15-inch Pro Touring Flare windshields and rode with each one briefly to give them a back-to-back comparison. Overall installation was a breeze, and fit and finish was great as well—very nice quality.
After testing all four models, I preferred the 12-inch Pro Touring Flare windscreen for my 6-foot-3 frame. I found myself looking over the screen, but it also had great wind protection due to the flared edge. I definitely awarded style points to the dark smoked Sport screen, but they did not provide as much comfort over a long-distance ride. Looking through the taller screens created an annoying distortion, which I did not like. I think it just depends on whether the rider wants to go for style versus performance, and the rider’s size will factor in as well.
