Customs Of The 2017 Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show

A collection of creative motorcycles that were displayed in Japan

You’ve got your choppers, your baggers, and then you have the custom bikes that are neither a bit of one nor a lot of the other. These are the bikes that pull a little from one or more genres and then twist it into their own individual flavor of motorcycle. There were a lot of these bikes at the Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show held in Japan a couple of weeks ago. They’re always among the coolest iron you’ll see at any good car or motorcycle show.

We’ve already shown you what went down in Yokohama with the choppers and bagged motorcycles, but you can’t possibly cover this show in two or three 12-shot photo galleries. Not if you want to do it any sort of justice, that is. It’s just too big for that. The bikes below are mix of customized scoots: café racers, choppers, Dynas, and other styles. One thing that’s great about all of them is that if you have builder’s block in the ideas department, any of them could inspire you right out of your funk.

Custom chopper

There’s a lot going on with this chopper. It’s a little digger-esque in the tank but those wheels are far more modern than that style.
