  1. Removing the stock seat is as easy as removing the bolt with a Phillips screwdriver. The stock seat can then be put in the eBay or storage pile.

  1. To remove the stock passenger backrest, take off the four bolts and place the stock piece with the seat for safekeeping.

  1. You might want to grab a friend to help hold the new backrest to get the bolts started.

  1. We installed the backrest during some unusually cold temperatures that made it difficult to start all four new bolts. To help make them fit, we carefully used a tie-down to squeeze the Tour-Pak lid slightly.
