Choppers Of The 2017 Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show
We’ve already shown you a gallery of custom baggers from this year’s Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show in Yokohama, Japan. All kinds of different bikes, however, were on display. That is part of the beauty of this event: seeing in person how bikers outside the US treat their pride and joy. Sometimes, those customs even inspire us to incorporate different ideas into our own scoots here on the homefront.
Having taken a gander at the bagger side, let’s now take a look at the other end of the spectrum: choppers. There were diggers, bobbers, trailer queens, and rat rods—old stuff, new stuff, and weird stuff. The show really was a great representation of what makes a chopper, no matter how you define the term. Have a good, long look for yourself. Maybe you’ll even find the inspiration to create your next chopper project.
