Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson announces plans for the original Bruce Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson museum and store – Set to open fall 2011

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (April 4, 2011) – Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson ** announced that the Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson Beach Street location, located at 290 North Beach Street, will be temporarily closed as of April 1, 2011 and that construction will immediately begin for **The Original Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson Museum and Store in its place, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The “Original” Beach Street location has a historical reputation within the Rossmeyer repertoire, as it is the first Harley-Davidson® dealership under the Bruce Rossmeyer name. The location will carry on making history once the museum and store open – serving as the very first museum in the company’s group. The museum and store will span across 20,000 square feet and will showcase a variety of displays, memorabilia, and items for purchase. Guests can expect to see exclusive collections of motorcycles provided by private motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors from across Florida, including selections from Bruce Rossmeyer’s personal collection; along with displays that depict historical moments in Harley-Davidson® history. The Store will offer visitors memorabilia, souvenirs and merchandise from The Original Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson Museum and from Harley-Davidson® to purchase. Featured items will include HD Motorclothes®, hats, coffee mugs, T-shirts and more. The Original Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson Museum and Store will be open to the public for tours and shopping.
