Going Old School
Hey HOT BIKE here’s a little about my bike:
I bought the ’06 Dyna Street Bob new in December 2005 and cut off the original fender just like they did in the old days and relocated the taillight/license to a vertical mount on the primary. The custom seat was built to my specs by a company in California, then I bought the sissybar from Cycle Visions and re-bent it and welded a metal plate in the center so my buddy could make a backrest for it that would match the seat and finish off the king and queen look. The Harley sissybar brackets wouldn’t work so I fabricated the diamond cut-out brackets and had S and H Chrome, chrome them. S and H also polished the rotors and powdercoated my rims red and hubs wrinkle black to match the engine and tranny. The bike came with a 17-inch rear wheel and a 180 tire. I couldn’t find a whitewall for that setup so I bought a ’12 Softail Deluxe 16-inch rear wheel and had it powdercoated red and put a 150 whitewall on it with a matching whitewall on the front. BR’s Custom Bars made the handlebars to my specs then I ran the wiring through the bars using Burly wiring extensions for a cleaner look. I slammed the rear 2-1/2-inches and the front 2 inches with Burly components. Also, I installed forward foot controls with custom flame pegs and matching handgrips. For the exhaust I went with Paul Yaffe Road Legends X Pipe, with a Vance & Hines Fuel Pak, Harley stage one kit, and the round old-school air filter cover. To finish the bike I put black dice valve-stem covers on, keeping the old-school look alive.

Black on Black on Chrome
Hey guys, I just wanted to shoot over a quick note about my bike. It has been a long-time dream of mine to make it into your magazine. This is my ’05 Fat Boy that I recently converted into a sick bagger. I have seen many attempts at a Softail bagger but in my opinion, none of them seem to fit the bill. My goal was to set the bike apart from all other Softail builds I had been seeing. I call this bike Vuudo (like black magic) and had Vuudo engraved on the sides of the frontend. I wanted a clean and stretched look and accomplished this by using a headlight with integrated turn signals. In the rear the lights are flushed and hidden in the stretched saddlebags. The stretched tank I used flows into custom side covers. I had a custom 23-inch front wheel machined with razor-sharp edges; you can really cut yourself on them. The bars were also custom-made, and then I had them powdercoated black along with the frontend to match the rest of the bike. A black face digital gauge helps complete the blacked-out theme. However, to break up all the black, I added a ton of chrome to the motor area, which really catches people’s attention.
