9. The starter ring gear is a 66-tooth design and 23-percent thicker than stock. As you can see, the starter ring is part of the outer basket, making for a one-piece design, unlike stock, in which the ring gear is riveted onto the clutch basket. With this clutch assembly you need to replace the factory 10-tooth starter pinion gear on '93-'07 bikes with the Baker 9-tooth starter pinion gear (Part No SP1000).
