So back in March my father was in a motorcycle accident, a woman came into his lane and hit him, luckily he was ok with the exception of his hand. However his finger is dislocated, the doctors have done surgery but it can never be repaired, he is unable to close his hand and is in constant pain. Again, this can never be repaired according to the doctors and he will be in pain the rest of his life. He finally hears from Progressive today 10 months later with the settlment offer. 21k and he is to pay his own doctors bills. If that wasn't slap in the face enough, the supervisor he was speaking with in Nashville says that it is just a finger and just his left hand. My father is now unable to ride, play catch with his grandsons, or work without being in extreme pain. I realize that he is fortunate to be alive and it could have been much worse so please don't think I am in anyway underminding that in anyway, but this is my father whom I adore so naturally for him to be insulted in this manor has made me quit livid. Does anyone know of any good lawyers in the East TN area by chance? Or know of something I can do? Everyone says that this is natural with insurance agencies, but it shouldn't be, it will however continue to be unless people finally start fighting back and letting them know that they can not continue to treat people this way.

Several years ago (could be 7 or so) I bought a copy of HB with an article that described the conversion of an electra glide into a road king front. The conversion of nacelle, gas tank, electrics, instruments were described in detail with pictures. I remember the mechanic being called "the doctor". I lost that copy. Ho boy I bought a set of these shotgun pipes and didn't even put 1000 miles on them. They had a stress crack at the bend and split while riding through the mountain....IN HALF I might add and burned through the heat wrap. This guy would not stand behind his product and wanted to tell me it was not his fault...Ha I have been bending 4130 chrome moly for 25+ yrs and I know a stress fracture ...or three actually when I see um . Just want you to beware looks aint everything...They do look good though. :crazy: Crappy Workmanship

i was told that it will damage the stock charging system on my 73 fxe if i use a 12 volt 60-40 watt auto head light instead of a cycle headlight. is this the case? i rarely use the 60 watt side of the light, if that makes any difference

Hey has anyone had issues with dragging your heals and scraping your primary with the EZ Rocker conversion? With the lowering kit it dropped my bike quite a bit. Is it plausable to either add more threads to the longer bolts or just get shorter ones to raise it up an inch - inch 1/2?
