No mas. Over. Fineto. The end. Dunzo. When its over, its over. For those the big fendered Indian Chiefs fans that has become the trademark of the Indian look, this may be the final chance to own a piece of history. Indian has had a roller coaster ride for over 111 years of motorized history, changing several hands along the way. Blacked out. Murdered out. Monotone. It seems like chrome and black are the yin and yang of the custom world and are at a constant battle in popularity. But what happens when going against the norm becomes the norm?

Board tracker-style motorcycles have been gaining popularity over the last several years, acting as inspiration for many modern customs. These speed-demon bikes were originally ridden by the gnarliest of men who often had more courage than brains. When Danny Schneider from Hard Nine Choppers in Switzerland had the opportunity to purchase one of these machines, he jumped at the opportunity to own a piece of motorcycle history. Here's his story as told by Danny.

Its pretty common for riders to walk into shops looking for one thing and end up buying more than they had planned. In extreme cases, they end up with an entire custom ride built from the ground up. Teaming up with the shop owner to launch a new line of production bikes was a new one to me, though. Yet, thats pretty much what happened when Keanu Reeves (yes, the actor) came to Gard Hollingers LA County Choprods on the prowl for a sissy bar for his 2005 Dyna. What started out as a rider looking for a simple add-on to his Harley evolved into the muscled-up, stripped-down KR GT-1 Prototype seen here and about as far a cry from an 05 Dyna as you can get.

I have known Dan Collins for years and have considered him a friend since the day we first met. Dan's looks and demeanor dictate that he is a ruffian and a hell raiser, but it couldn't be further from the truth. He's a talented guy that chooses his words wisely and he possesses one of the most intriguing laughs you will ever hear in your life.

He isn’t a reality TV star, isn’t married to a Hollywood A-lister, and doesn’t have a semi waiting to tow his bikes to shows. He’s just an average Joe with above-average skills, and above all things, has a love of the open road.

This bike was purchased as an assembled basket case in the '70s. It was purchased from Richard Schultz who said it was likely out of a dealership inventory bought up in South Dakota. He bought the "Lil Go Go" while he had a couple other running bikes with the intention of going through the whole thing. You see, his other Knucklehead was stolen and then recovered but not without missing some parts. The '70s came and went and after children arrived in the '80s, the motor was finally rebuilt where it resided in the kitchen of the house for many years. Slowly the bike was repainted and reassembled. But it wasn't until about the year 2000 when the bike was finally completed. "Wet" Wally ended up selling it and bought a new bagger with the proceeds as he still had his first Knucklehead. A couple of years passed and I got the bug for a knucklehead and wanted this bike. After several conversations with my brothers, I finally called the new owner and expressed interest in buying the bike back. He would never have thought of selling the bike, but since it was its previous home calling, a deal was struck.

To put Execution Style into a specific bike genre might pose as a difficult task for many, including owner/operator Kyle Morley. In Kyle's own words, "If it's even close to being the easy way out, it is nixed from the get go. With us not having millions of dollars worth of equipment at our disposal, it forces us to buy the closest parts to what's in my head and reworking them until they fit the bill."

For many of us, motorcycles are our passion, and rightfully so. Our motorcycles are an escape from many of life's challenges and they provide us with the feeling of real freedom as we scoot down roads both new and old alike. From the wheels to paint and every detail in between, they are also a chance to express ourselves and our personalities.

Whether young, old, or somewhere in between, at some point in life it is everyone's dream to purchase his or her own motorcycle. Sure, we'd all love to spend $30,000 and buy the biggest, baddest bike on the market, but for most of us working stiffs, money seems to always be the one major decision factor. Instead of focusing on the decked-out top-of-the-line bikes, setting one's sights more toward the middle-pack models quickly opens up a wide variety of choices. The Victory Judge and the Harley-Davidson Slim are both newer models that fall somewhere smack in the middle of the price range for new bikes. Both offer sleek contemporary styling, motors packed with a punch, and are made for those looking for minimalist accessories to get in the way of the wind in their hair on a sport cruiser.
