Santa Monica, CA - September 19, 2011 - Adaptiv Technologies announces the launch of the TPX Motorcycle Radar and Laser Detection System Version 2.0.
"The second generation includes several significant improvements based on customer feedback," said CTO Adam Gold.
Gold added, "Aesthetically, Version 2.0 maintains the same basic look as the first version. The brains of the system, however, have been completely revamped resulting in drastic performance increases. In independent testing, the new version performed on par, or better than, all the top end automotive detectors. Version 2.0 also has a new, sturdier cable connection, and the ability to filter out X and K bands independently in both City and Highway modes to better combat false alerts."
The MSRP for TPX Detection System 2.0 remains at $299.
The company also announced an upgrade program for existing customers. Customers who purchased Version 1.0 less than a year ago will be eligible to receive a $100 rebate. Customers who purchases Version 1.0 more than a year ago will be eligible to receive a $75 rebate.
