New Digital Gear Indicator from Harley Davidson

LED Handlebar Display Indicates Neutral, Current Gear

New Digital Gear Indicator From Harley Davidson Indicator

MILWAUKEE (May 26, 2011) The new Digital Gear Indicator (P/N 70900038 Chrome, P/N 70900078 Black; $219.95) from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Accessories eliminates gear-selection guesswork. Conveniently located on the handlebar for line-of-site viewing, the bright LED display is easy-to-read with a quick glance. When the clutch is out, the display indicates the current gear, or a large "N" when the transmission is in the neutral position. A built-in photocell automatically adjusts the display for improved visibility in direct sunlight, and dims the display at night to reduce distraction. Plug-and-play installation requires no wire splicing or complicated programming. Available in chrome or satin black finish, the complete kit includes a self-contained LED and control module, control housing, wiring harness and required mounting hardware. Fits many 2007-later VRSC, Sportster®, Dyna®, and Touring models, and 2007-10 Softail® models. It may not fit with some other accessories. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.
