Wheel Jockey
Designed to help ease the chain lube/wheel cleaning process on motorcycles up to 750 pounds, the Wheel Jockey (WJ) is very simplistic in design and with its two aluminum rollers bolted in between a 4x4 1/2-inch steel case, it's easily portable. To use the WJ you simply place the unit 2 inches in front of the wheel with its smaller stationary rod end facing the wheel then carefully roll the bike up onto it and steady the bike on the kickstand.
We put the WJ to use on a Softail with a 200mm rear tire and a Sporty with a 130mm rear. Rolling the 200mm up on the WJ and finding the center point was a little more tedious than with the 130. The unit was definitely easier to use on the lighter/smaller tire bike, but with the Sporty we had issues with the tire wanting to walk off the WJ as we turned it. While the WJ is reasonably priced at $54 and is of solid construction, it might work better with bikes that stand up a little taller and don't have a hard lean angle on the kickstand. We'd just rather roll the bike as needed to clean the wheel.
