The axle kit, which consists of an axle and 2 stylish bolts to cap it off, are manufactured from high-strength, corrosion resistant 316-stainless steel. Unlike other aftermarket axles which use lesser grade materials, Performance Machine chose 316-stainless steel which eliminates the need for corrosion resistant coating, results in a more precise fit, and increased axle strength. Another benefit of the high-grade stainless is the ability to offer the bolts in a satin finish or a beautiful show polish.
