The new Easy Start Cams from S&S Cycle claim to eliminate hard starting for good. Available in chain-drive and gear-drive applications, the Easy Start Cams fit '07-later big twins. Each cam features a spring-loaded compression release lobe, which reduces cranking compression, making it easier for engine cranking. After the engine's been started, and when rpm increases, the compression release lobe is centrifugally retracted to run at full compression for normal engine operation.
