Kuryakyn Introduces Hypercharger ES for V-twins
Kuryakyn, a name synonymous with Hypercharger, is coming full circle with the introduction of their new, Hypercharger ES. V-Twin enthusiasts were introduced to the Hypercharger more than 25 years ago. Since then, the aftermarket air cleaner has become one of the industry’s best-selling products worldwide.
The introduction of the new Hypercharger ES represents the evolution of an iconic product in the powersports industry and showcases the modern updates in performance and style. The new design features state-of-the-art electronic butterfly operation which has an integrated servo motor connecting the coil actuates and opening the butterflies with a twist of the throttle.
There is a new Kuryakyn-designed high-flow K&N filter element that maximizes air delivery. It has a larger surface area and an internal stinger design on the filter’s end cap that offers around 10% more airflow, improving the CFM rating and increasing horsepower and torque.
The aggressively-styled modular housing for the Hypercharger ES has been constructed from high-quality A380 aluminum, is being offered in three finish options and is customizable with Kuryakyn Classic Faceplate Kits (sold separately). The faceplate kits come with the Hypercharger ES emblem laser-engraved into the fully fluted design.
Volume production for the Hypercharger ES is slated for early September with fitment for all ’99-’17 Twin Cam and ’17 Milwaukee-Eight models, as well as XL Sportster applications soon to follow.
