More Sturgis Happenings:
In support of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation (SACCCF), Dirico Motorcycles USA has donated a Custom Dirico Pro Street bike to be raffled off August 14, 2010. This commemorative Dirico celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Sturgis Rally in a fitting fashion with its all-American designed and built frame, motor, and components. All of the raffle proceeds will go to the SACCCF and its beneficiaries. The SACCCF is dedicated to helping the children and local charities of the Sturgis community. This year, FFJournal, the magazine for today's fabricating and forming technology, will bring the passion and pride of the manufacturing industry to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the Garage Shop Fabricator Showcase. Located at the FFJournal tent on Lazalle Street, the next generation of fabricators and formers can meet industry innovators and learn fabricating techniques.
The legendary Starboyz will again return to the streets of Sturgis tearing up the asphalt with their amazing bike stunts and burnouts. Look for them on Kinship Road at Lazelle Street next to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Expo and Lot from Sunday, August 8, through Thursday, August 12, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. daily.
Join the crowd in downtown Sturgis as the Loud American Roadhouse presents the Loud American Burnouts. Watch as bikers do their best before a panel of judges to earn the $1,000 in prize money. The competition will take place Wednesday, August 11, at 3 p.m.
The Industry Roundtable is designed to give riders an insight into the motorcycle business from significant custom builders and aftermarket professionals. This is your chance to hear from some of the greatest minds in custom motorcycle building and customization. Listen in as moderator Chris McGee from RevComm talks with famous custom motorcycle builders Dave Perewitz, Eddie Trotta, and Donnie Smith. Holger Mohr (Custom Chrome), Grady Pfeiffer (GH Marketing), and Ted Sands (Performance Machine) complete the panel with their extensive experience in the aftermarket.
