PSI is about variety! We don't limit our students to one specific manufacturer and we are simply - like no other! We want to expose our students to what is available in the field and industry. We do not want any limitations, and with that said we want maximum exposure. Industry is more then just stock HD. PSI is on a much broader scope as far the American V Twin industry. We provide the information and training on HD so if they decide to be employed at a HD dealership, they will be prepared for the PHD level of training in an HD dealership. Our manufacturer and recognized training that we have partnered up with is Victory (1 of a very select few training centers in the Nation) as well as S&S Cycles (only 1 in the Nation / world).

Throughout your time at the PowerSport Institute you will also have the ability to not only learn the duties of a technician in a shop, but also those of a service writer. Every student has the opportunity to be assigned the service writer at the beginning of each day and is responsible for all the other students in lab. Therefore reflecting the duties of a service writer in a shop environment. Incorporating this responsibility into every students education prepares them for a real world experience, making them far more valuable to employers once they reach the field. Many of the duties that pertain to those of a service writer are correctly filling out repair orders, placing parts orders, writing crash estimates, and properly conducting yourself while conversing with customers. One of the training techniques we utilize in doing this is Victory's A.S.S.E.R.T. Program. This is also one of the many steps in a series of training videos called Manufacturer Service Dealer that Victory has provided to our students so when they graduate they have the opportunity to be MSD Certified.

In addition to the industry standard motorcycle technician training you will receive, this program challenges our students with a custom bike build project. In our Custom Bike Building/ Performance Program you can incorporate your creativity and innovation in design while focusing on performance drivability, functionality and safety initiatives while giving you practical experience in motorcycle assembly. This unique program offers the opportunity to combine technical instruction with design elements such as; metal fabrication, laying paint, rebuilding wiring harnesses, and customizing components. We train you to " Think Outside The Box " while giving you the skills to be individually motivated and challenged making the instruction more valuable to you and ultimately, the powersport industry.

Our goal is to train the successful student so they will be able to build a custom motorcycle from a variety of engines, frames, wheels and suspension components followed by tuning and running performance tests on our motorcycle dyno
