RoosteR Snatches up Perse
RoosteR Custom Cycles announced that it has acquired the intellectual property afor the Perse Performance front end and aftermarket parts line. RoosteR will manufacture and market existing Perse products, as well as add new products to the line, which will be known as Perse Performance by RoosteR. Many existing Perse products are already available, while others will be released over the next few months. RoosterR anticipates that enhancements to the product line will include wheels, forward foot controls, and new designs to existing parts. RoosteR Custom Cycles is currently accepting applications to become a Perse Performance by RoosteR dealer.

Harley-Davidson invites competitive riders to trade in their non-Harley-Davidson motorcycles for a new untitled H-D motorcycle. As an added incentive, customers who trade-in an eligible competitive motorcycle toward the purchase of an eligible H-D motorcycle by January 31, 2010, will receive the dealer-negotiated trade-in value plus $500 towards the final purchase price. "Currently one-in-four sales of new Harley-Davidson motorcycles are to competitive brand riders, but there may be some riders out there who don't realize that nearly all Harley-Davidson dealers welcome competitive brand trade-ins, so we are spreading the word through this promotion and sweetening the deal to help get them on the ride of their dreams," said Dino Bernacchi, Harley-Davidson Advertising and Promotions Director.
