Van Man
I run a small shop out of my backyard. I do repairs for people in the Casa Grande area. Attached are a couple photos of a bike that I built for a girl named Rosalie. It started as a kit bike, but now it doesn’t look at all like the kit. All of the body parts have been exchanged for different items. The bike has a 110ci motor, 100 HP Ultima engine, five-speed transmission, enclosed belt drive primary, Vance and Hines 2-into-1 exhaust, Chrome Horse forward controls, 200 x 18 rear tire and an FXST front end all in a Midwest rigid frame. The bike was painted by Andrew at Mike’s in Chandler and pinstriped by AJ’s in Mesa, Arizona. The model is PeeWee, who incidentally rides her own GSX-R600.
Ha-Vah-Hee Harley
My bike is a ’09 HD Night train with the 96ci motor, Softail frame, stock wheels and I tried to keep the sheet metal minimal! My accessories are Screaming Eagle intake and a Vance and Hines exhaust. I had the bike lowered in the rear and for the front I went with four-inch under touring tubes for that slammed look. I also chopped the spring a little to bring it lower and even out the frame. The front lower sliders and rims were powder coated black. It also has a side mounted license plate, black HD levers, PM grips, point and derby covers, axle covers, custom shaved crossbones seat and a chopped pan. I made a bracket and relocated the ECU behind the oil tank and added a Arlen Ness mirror, Hollywood bars, Fatboy headlight with HD bezel and smoked blinker covers. I call this bike ‘Animal’!
Blue Flame Top Chop
My bike is a ’05 American Performance Cycle with a S&S 96ci engine. It has a 6-in lift and 36-degree rake. After buying it off the showroom floor, I decided to customize it a bit. I first changed the wheels to five spokes and replaced the front fender. Then I replaced the exhaust with a Vance & Hines. I also added a bullet headlight and a fly screen windshield. With a little sheet metal work to the front of the rear wheels to fill the gap and I had myself a semi-custom chopper.
