Describe yourself in three words?
Husband, father, boss.

Why the motorcycle industry?
I loved riding. There wasn’t anything that could equal the fun for the cost.

What do you see in the industry’s crystal ball?
To grow we need to lower bike costs, and safety/safety-programs need to be job one. Also there needs to be more rally events, which give people a reason to ride.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Aside from family, Vance & Hines.

Favorite all-time motorcycle?
Honda CB750.

Who inspires you?
John Wooden, Steve Jobs.

What’s your biggest regret?
That I didn’t know the value of an education earlier in life.

What is your proudest moment?
That’s a hard one…First to 200 mph, double wins at Laguna World Superbike, two Daytona 200 wins, Matt and Andrew both three-time champions, XR1200s lined up at Indianapolis…there’s plenty more!

Favorite place on Earth?
Maui, Hawaii.

Biggest pet peeve?
Government waste.

What are you currently working on?
Staying healthy.
