Describe yourself in three words.
Detailed, simple, humble
Why the motorcycle industry?
They are fast and fun and have always been a part of my life. And they take up less space than cars.
What do you see in the industry’s crystal ball?
Technology has taken over. More computer-controlled components and fewer hammers.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Still working on the greatest, but as of today I’d say my family and my business.
Favorite all-time motorcycle?
I don’t have a favorite. I appreciate the details and certain aspects of many motorcycles. They all have certain qualities that just can’t be put into one bike.
Who inspires you?
Randy Renfrow, road racer, as a racer, businessman, and friend.
What’s your biggest regret?
Not having the confidence to start my own business earlier in life.
What is your proudest moment?
Racing motocross in Anaheim and at the Los Angeles Coliseum when I was a kid.
Favorite place on Earth?
Wherever I am when great things happen.
Biggest pet peeve?
I’m never satisfied; I’m a perfectionist in my own mind. There’s always one more thing that needs to be done.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on releasing stainless steel fork caps for 39mm, 41mm, and 49mm fork tubes. They’re pretty much ready to go and will be available in machined, polished, charcoal black, and a brass/gold-type finish.
