Whether a short or long haul, we got to hand it to Fred for riding this custom out to the Sturgis 06 rally, special rear suspension or not.

2006 Fred Kodlin 21R Hand Made Handlebars
To change things up a bit and throw a spin on innovation, Fred hand-made a handlebar so it's hard to tell where the triple tree stops and the bar begins. It sits atop his custom frontend.

His own Kodlin pulley shaft brake stops a disc attached to a shaft on the right side of the bike and is driven by the primary pulley's drive.

Going against the grain and the German means of design as well, Fred used a 21-incher in the rear coupled with the traditional 21 in the front, creating a slim, clean look.
