As owner of Paul Yaffe Originals (PYO) in Phoenix, Arizona, Paul has been filling more and more orders for custom parts that fit H-D touring models. Bagger Nation was launched in November 2007 to "be the bagger enthusiast's one-stop location for custom products and performance information for your bagger," Paul said. And although PYO is still building customs and has been for the past couple decades, the company is addressing a need in an industry where touring bikes are popular.
One of Paul's goals in the creation of Bagger Nation is to alter some of the perceptions of the touring bikes. "I'm trying to break the mold that 'This is your dad's bike' and turn it into something custom and make it badass," Paul said. "We want the wonderful convenience and ride of Harley's touring bikes, but to make them more badass and custom-looking."
