East Coast Bound - Hot Bike Magazine
HOT BIKE is heading east this coming September to be on hand for the 10th anniversary memorial event of the September 11th tragedies. We will be flying out to Pennsylvania to pay our respects to those that lost their lives on Flight 93. There are several events taking place leading up to and around this event. Two major rides are the Ride With the 40 and the Let's Roll Ride. The Ride with the 40 event starts in California and is a 10-day ride across the country ending at the crash site in Shanksville, PA. The goal of the Ride With the 40 event is to raise $250,000 for the Flight 93 National Memorial with 100-percent of all donations going directly to building the Memorial and to help bring remembrance of the heroic deeds of the 40 passengers that lost their lives on Flight 93. For more information on Ride With the 40 visit ridewiththe40.org.
Another ride taking place is the Let's Roll Ride with six groups of 40 riders (flights) departing from five flight paths in the surrounding Pennsylvania area. The Flights will converge on the memorial site on September 10, and each bike will be carrying a memorial flag bearing the name of one of the 40 heroes that was on Flight 93. All proceeds from the ride will directly benefit the Flight 93 National Memorial. For more information on the Let's Roll Ride visit [letsrollride.com](http://www. letsrollride.com).
While the weekend of September 11th will be a solemn one across the nation as we reflect and honor all those who have lost their lives or been affected by the September 11th tragedies, Z&M; Cycle Sales and Harley-Davidson Dealership hopes to raise some spirits with its 17th Annual National Open House. Taking place on Saturday September 10th at the Z&M; dealership in Greensburg, PA, the open house will host its annual Chili cookoff, will have new 2012 Harley models on display, and will be offering demo rides. We plan on stopping in for a few hours to hang out on Saturday in between visiting the memorial site and riding the beautiful roads of Pennsylvania.
